What We Believe

  • We believe the Bible is the inerrant and infalliable Word of God. It is our only rule for faith and practice [2 Timothy 3:16-17].
  • We recognize that Christ is the head over all things to the church, and has delegated his authority to no man or group of men [Ephesians 1:22-23].
  • Our plea is the unity of all believers [John 17:20-21].
  • One of our mottos is In faith, unity; in opinions, liberty; and in all things, love.
  • We have no requirements for membership other than those given in the New Testament for becoming a Christian. These are confessing your faith in Jesus Christ [Matthew 10:32], turning away from your sins through repentance [Luke 13:3], and baptism by immersion for the forgiveness of sins and gift of the Holy Spirit[Acts 2:38][1 Peter 3:21].
  • We do not claim to be the only Christians, but we are Christians only. We invite all who are like-minded to join our fellowship as we encourage each other on the road to heaven [Hebrews 10:23-25].
